One of the bid and buy items that I thought the kids might enjoy was bidding to throw a pie on my face after the talent show on Thursday, May 29th. What was I thinking? Ha! Throwing a pie in your teacher's face = priceless! Congratulations, Robert! Take it easy on me okay?

Our last spelling test is this Friday: your, won't, with, you, and zoo. I only have three students taking it. Please keep practicing! Your child needs to keep all their skills sharp so they are ready for second grade. Thanks for all your help!

Please look for my summer suggestions letter that will be in the report cards going home next week. Please keep investing in your children over the summer. You would be amazed at how much retention is lost if they do not practice, practice, and practice some more! Your the best!

I hope that I will see all of you at the carnival this Friday. I so appreciate all those parents who are volunteering their time and the donations our class has received so far for our "Back to School" theme basket, as well as all the 2-liter donations The class with the most two liters wins a pizza party and you know we love pizza! We are almost there!!!! Thanks a million!. Let's make it the best carnival yet!

The Critters are working hard to finish up all their trimester tests. They have been real troopers!
