Well this will be the last newsletter of the year. It has been a real pleasure to get to know all of you. I enjoyed working with your children. They have progressed so much over the school year. Keep reading and working on math facts over the summer, so they will be ready for 4th grade at the new intermediate building.
The talent show was very fun. All of our classmates did a wonderful job!
Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. DeMuth who came and gave us a fun outside water play time. We loved the popsicles too!
Congratulations go to the students who earned an "A+" on the trial spelling test. They were Rachel, Bethanie, Jacob, Audrey, Nathan, Breeanna, Julia, Will, Michelle, Kimberlee, Kyle, Morgan, and Brett!! Way to go guys. This was our last spelling test of the year. We will not have a list next week.
The movers are supposed to come and move all of our text books and class library books on Monday. Just a heads up, so that your child can be prepared for the confusion and commotion.
Report cards will be given out on Tuesday. If you know your child will not be here that day, please have them let me know on Monday, so they can get their report card.
Have a wonderful summer!!!!!!!!

Well, we've got one week to go. Next week we have some exciting things happening.
On Wednesday, we will have the coupon sale, like we did at Christmas time. On Thursday, weather permitting, we will have the "Busy Bee Picnic" during lunchtime. If your child has qualified for the picnic, they will receive an invitation on Wednesday. Only students earning 12 behavior stickers will be invited. They will need to pack that day. I will provide drinks and treats. On Friday, the awards assembly will be in the morning, and the talent show will be in the afternoon. Times haven't been announced yet.
We are working on our biography reports here at school. Some of the students have expressed an interest in presenting their report to the class as a speech, along with costumes. This is extra credit if they would like to do that. It is not required.
We has several students who earned a "100' on the trial spelling test. They were Rachel, Philip, Zachery, Bethanie, Jacob, Jeremy, Zach D., Becca, Audrey, Nathan, Breeanna, Will, Michelle, Kimberlee, Brett, and Josey!! Great job everyone!!
Don't forget May book reports are due by Monday, June 1st. Have a nice weekend!!

Well, we have just about two more weeks to go. Most of the children are hanging in there. But several of the students seem to have given up. Please talk to your child about doing their best work, and giving their best behavior. Some of us are becoming quite disruptive to the rest of the students.
Next week information will be coming home on a short biography report that we will be working on at school and possibly some at home. Students will have the opportunity to choose a famous American, research that person, and give a short report dressed in costume, like their famous American. I will send home more information on Tuesday.
Congratulations to the students who earned an "A+" on the trial spelling test. They were Rachel, Philip, Bethanie, Jacob, Jeremy, Becca, Audrey, Nathan, Julia, Will, Michelle, Kimberlee, Kyle, Morgan, Cole, Brett, and Josey!!! Way to go busy bees!
Thanks to Mrs. Moore, Alex's grandma, and Mr. Thompson, Zachary's dad, for coming in and talking about their careers. Our last student of the week will be Seth.
Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!!
