Thank you to all the families who sent me such lovely gifts. I really appreciated them! Your child should be bringing home a wrapped gift for you as well. I hope you enjoy the crafts they made. Have a wonderful Christmas Break! I hope Santa brings you everything you wish for!

Tomorrow your child will need to bring a medium sized box or some wrapping paper to wrap the craft we have been working on. If you have an extra roll of tape, that would be very helpful too.
If your child is participating in the class gift exchange, be sure they bring their present tomorrow. Be sure they have whether it is for a boy or a girl, and who the gift is from. Remember we set a $5.00 limit.
We will also be having our coupon sale tomorrow. Your child should be bringing their purchases home in a white paper bag. The more coupons they earned, the more goodies they will have.
The Mad Cap puppet show will be at 2:00 and should be very funny. Mrs. Whitlock will be coming in at 3:00 to talk to the class, so tomorrow would not be a good day to pick your child up early.

Next week will be a hectic week, getting ready for Christmas. I am planning a small craft and I was wondering if the parents would mind donating one dollar($1.00) toward our cause. If you can donate, please send your child's dollar in on Monday. Also if you have a small picture of your child you could send in, that would help. My digital camera died the other day. Thanks in advance for your help!
I will be sending home Busy Bee Luncheon invitations on Wednesday. If your child receives one for their good work and behavior, please make sure they pack on Thursday. I will provide the drinks and treats.
Remember if your child would like to participate in the class's Christmas gift exchange, they should bring a gift on Friday. Let's have a $5.00 limit, boys buy for boys and girls for girls.
Congratulations to the following students who earned an "A" on the unit 5 math test. They were Rachel, Philip, Zachery, Jeremy, Becca, Nathan, Breeanna, Julia, Michelle, Kimberlee, and Brett! Way to go math geniuses.
We also had several students who earned an "A+" on the trial spelling test. They were Rachel, Philip, Bethanie, Jacob, Jeremy, Becca, Audrey, Nathan, Julia, Will, Michelle, Kyle, Morgan, Cole, Brett, Josey!! Way to go guys!!
We have had wonderful, interesting visits from Will's dad and Audrey's mom and dad. The children really enjoyed learning more about their jobs and hobbies. Next week's student of the week is Josey!
Have a great weekend!
