The children have been working very hard this week. We are intensely preparing for the upcoming Ohio Achievement Tests. We will be reviewing a great deal of important information in the next few weeks. Please be sure your child is here everyday, if at all possible. I would not want them to miss anything that will be covered.
This week the children finished up their "One Rainy Day in March" stories. We will be sending copies of their finished work to the author and illustrator that visited, during Right to Read Week. Most of the children worked really hard and were very creative. Copies of their stories should be coming home next week. Please be sure they share their story with you.
Thank you to all the parents, who helped make sure March book reports were turned in. I still have a few students who are dragging their feet, getting them turned in. We will continue book reports through the end of April. Those students who have met their goal every month will be invited to a pizza party, some time in May, sponsored by me. Keep reading!!!
Our class has started French lessons on Friday afternoons. Three students from Little Miami High School, will be coming over at the end of the day on Fridays, to teach the class French terms. They children all seem very excited about this.
Congratulations go to several students who earned a "100" on their trial spelling test. They were Megan, Sierra, Austin, Josh, Angie, Michael, Kate, Sara, Shelby, Natalie, and Nick. Way to go everyone!!!!!!!!!
We were happy to learn more about Josh this week, and enjoyed the visit from his mother. Sara will be our last Student of the Week, next week. Have a great weekend!!!
