Finally, achievement testing is over! I'm sure the students are glad, and so am I. No more practice packets for the rest of this year. The children all seemed to try very hard during the two testing mornings. The results of the testing will not come back until sometime this summer. We will be spending the rest of the school year finishing up 3rd grade curriculum, and relaxing just a tiny bit.
Thank you again, to all the parents and family members who volunteered to help with the carnival booth. The schedule is coming home today. Let me know if you have a conflict with your scheduled time. Also, please continue to donate items for our gift wrapping theme basket. We have a little bit so far, but we will need some more items, in order to make it a worthwhile basket for the auction. I'm pretty sure they will need donations of two-liter pops also, but I haven't heard yet when we will start collecting them.
Remember all book reports are due by Wednesday, April 30th. Those students who met the reading requirement every month, will be invited to a pizza party in May. Invitations will be sent home the week of May 5th.
Congratulations goes out to three girls who earned an "A+" on the trial spelling test. They were Megan, Kelsy, and Sara! Good job ladies!!
Last week's "busy bee" was Kate. She brought in a hilarious photo album full of pictures from her weekend with Mr. Bee. He even got to go to Carraba's for dinner. This week's "busy bee" of the week is Nick! Thanks for setting such a good example, Nick! Will Mr. Bee be going to the baseball game with you? Have a great weekend!!!
