This week the students have been working very hard. We have been doing a lot of reading. We are just finishing up our novel, "The Boy in the Girl's Bathroom". All the children really enjoyed the book. After some follow up activities, we will start "Charlotte's Web", which I know all the children will enjoy.
We also started research for our biography reports. Please help your child find a book or information off of the internet on their famous American. They will need to bring the information to school next week. I have several books from the Blanchester Public Library, but they didn't have books on all of our famous Americans. I sent a speech schedule home on Thursday, let me know if you did not receive one.
Thanks to all the parents who volunteered to work in the spring festival booth. You should have already received the schedule. We still need donations for our gift wrapping theme basket. Thanks to to all the parents who reminded their children to get their book reports in. We will have the "star reader" pizza party sometime this month. More details will follow.
Congratulations goes out to the students who earned an "A+" on the trial spelling test. They were Megan, Kelsy, Lance, Angie, Michael, Kate, Sara, Natalie, and Nick!! Way to go everyone.
