| Newsletter for June 1, 2009 |
This will be our last newsletter of the year! I want to thank everyone for their continued support, and for making this one of my best years at Butlerville☺ I will miss all of the families and the feel of community that has made Butlerville such a great place to be! I wish you all much happiness in the years to come! I will remember you with fond memories!!

The reading and spelling test will be on Thursday instead of Friday!!! Friday morning we are doing math and science stations and in the afternoon we have an assembly!!! This will be the last spelling and reading test of the school year!!! Thanks for all of your hard work and patience!!

There is no school on Monday, May 25th.
The spelling and reading tests will be on Friday. This will be the last week for spelling and reading tests☺ I will not be taking grades after next Friday, May 29th.
Spelling Words: sunnier, cloudier, windier, cities, heaviest, prettiest, studied, easier, noisier, families, ferries, crazier, funnier, earlier, copied, hobbies, angriest, emptied, worried, happiest, iciest, hazier, breezier, companies, qualities
The cold read will be over, Gloria Estefan.
Grammar- The students will be learning more about pronouns.
Writing- The students will be writing letters to next year‚s fourth graders☺
Math- We will be doing all review ☺ It will be over random standards the students are suppose to know☺
Social Studies- We will be talking about how to be good citizens.
Science- The students are learning about volcanoes.

Remember that Entrepreneur Day is Thursday! Each child, or group, needs to bring in change to hand back to students:)
Thanks to everyone who made the carnival and the fourth grade picnic such a huge success!! The t-shirts are awesome too!!!!
Field Day is this Wednesday, May 20th from 1-3. Notes are going home if you are able to volunteer!! If so, you will need to be here at 12:30. Thanks to Mr. Cummings for doing this for us!!
