August Newsletter - Page 2 Student Pick Up ProceduresPlease send a daily note if you are picking up your child or they are getting off the bus someplace other than home. If it is necessary to change or adjust plans during the day, it will be necessary to either do this in person, or send a signed, faxed note to the school. Changes will not be taken over the telephone. We are trying to ensure the correct and safe placement of your child.
The pick up loop entry point is the driveway by the mailbox. Proceed across the parking lot to the farmer's fence, turn left and come back across the lot in front of the building, through the cut through, and out the far side of the building. This is a one-way drive. Teachers will make a concerted effort to have students out at 3:35, but occasionally a child is delayed. If your child is delayed in coming out, please pull on through and re-enter the loop. Thanks for being considerate of the other parents trying to pick up their students. All students should enter the car from the passenger side to prevent walking between cars. Students who have not been picked up by 3:45 P.M. will ride the bus home.
Please bear with us. It takes about two weeks for bus times to become streamlined. This is due to the extra care our drivers take in getting to know their students and being sure that all new students are delivered to the correct address.
